Abstract: Personalized Nutrition (PN) is a transformative approach in dietary science that guides tailored dietary recommendations through individual genetic characteristics, thereby optimizing health outcomes and more effectively managing chronic diseases. This review synthesizes key aspects of personalized nutrition, focusing on the genetic basis of dietary responses, recent research advances, and practical applications. We explore how individual genetic differences affect dietary metabolism, highlighting the importance of nutrigenomics in developing personalized dietary guidelines. Current research on personalized nutrition underscores significant gene-diet interactions influencing various conditions such as obesity and diabetes, suggesting that the precision and efficacy of dietary interventions can be enhanced if tailored based on genetic profiles. Furthermore, we discuss the practical applications of personalized nutrition, including technological advancements in genetic testing that enable real-time dietary customization.
